about

Part of the Lately Kind of Yeah archive series.

Espers sees LKOY return to a VGM-influenced synth sound through the generative, evocative landscape of titles from "Time Chaser" and "Ghost of the Asteroid". My personal favorites of this near-2 hour adventure are the sparkling, progressive "Flux Frozen" and decisively groovy “The Menu Altar”.

Words from the artist:

"Espers compiles nearly two hours of electronic demos and sketches, divided into a few sections with material dating as far back as 2008. Tracks 1–26 consist of assorted finished songs with the inclusion of limited releases 'Indicator' and 'Rabbit Troop', while the back-half runs through a number of shorter ideas for the sake of collection and interest. Quianna Fick again provides cover artwork following the previous electro release 'Phthalo'."
